Ensemble San Francisco returns to Music on the Hill in San Francisco with a program of Jessie Montgomery’s Strum for String Quartet, the West Coast premiere of Moses Sedler’s Andante for String Quartet, William Grant Still’s Danzas de Panama and Brahms String Quartet No. 2 in A Minor Op. 51.

A Series for the Bay

ESF’s Young Artist Curator, Ryan Sheng, presents the first in a series of online concerts featuring young artists raising funds for local organizations. Ryan Sheng performs a program of Chopin Etude Op 10 No 1, Op 25 No 1, Polonaise Op 53, Ballade No 4, and Ravel La Valse. All donations will go to SF Marin Food Bank.

Crowden Faculty Recital

Highly acclaimed faculty coaches from Crowden’s Chamber Music Workshop program perform a recital of chamber works. Crowden’s annual Chamber Music Workshop faculty concert is always a highlight of the summer, and this year is no exception, with the Alexander String Quartet, Telegraph Quartet, Yuri Cho, Elizabeth Dorman, James Jaffe, Evan Price, Anna Renton, Elizabeth Schumann, Arkadi Serper, and Eugene Sor all performing!
